Samuel Hurt
Samuel Hurt Filmmaker and Photographer

Samuel is a filmmaker and photographer, raised in the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Man, where outdoor adventures were always on his doorstep. At an early age, he began to teach himself how to use video and stills cameras and learn what happens when you take them with you into the wilderness. Becoming familiar with cameras from early on has ensured that for the majority of his life, there has always been an opportunity to document the things that inspire him.
Now, he works as an independent filmmaker and photographer, telling inspiring stories from around the world through the lens; trying his best to convey the buzz they give him to his audience.

Samuel is a firm believer that photography should be accessible to everyone, and wants to inspire confidence and pride in one's images. Being in the outdoors, creating images and most importantly, sharing them with others is incredibly fulfilling and something he believes we should all try our hand at. It is not about being an 'amateur' or a 'professional', it's about the unique connection that we have with the landscape and the enrichment it brings to both the photographer, and those around them.
